On a team with as much talent and depth as Bronxville’s, Mason Warble was still able to stand out during the team’s run to a second-straight Class C title.
The sophomore played a big role during the team’s two wins in the semifinal and final last week. She had five goals and an assist, along with 11 draw controls and 14 ground balls in the team’s win over Hen Hud last Tuesday, and she put up a stat line of four goals, one assist, 20 draw controls and 18 ground balls in the team’s win over Pearl River.
Another player who stood out last week was Suffern’s Mikaila Cheeseman, who put up a spectacular performance in net to hold off a surprising Mahopac team. My game story on her performance can be read here.
