Here are the updates from the No. 2 North Rockland vs. No. 1 Lakeland/Panas at Fox Lane High School (5:15 p.m. start). The winner will play the Section 9 Class A champion Kingston/Warwick in the regional semifinals on Wednesday, May 30.

33. North Rockland upsets 5-time defending champion Lakeland/Panas by a score of 10-9.

32. North Rockland running out the clock as best they can…even with no one in goal for Lakeland/Panas…1:00 left to play.

31. Lakeland/Panas running out of time, down a man too. 3:18 left to play.

30. Officials timeout on the field. Yellow card issued against Lakeland/Panas Allie O’Mara with 4:48 left.

29. Jump ball? Lakeland/Panas gets it on the jump. Molly Fitzpatrick gets the shot off an assist from Alexa Bonnes. Rebels down by 1, score 10-9, with 6:17 left to play.

28. Game is getting a little rough….6:23 left to play and lots of girls down on the ground. What will the officials call? Still North Rockland lead, 10-8.

27. Lakeland/Panas swaps goalies again…Amelia Lopez back in goal.

26. Kelly Dowd sneaks her second of the game past Santos, giving North Rockland a 2-g0al lead, 10-8 with 10:47 left.

25. Clock dwindling away…10:58 left in the Class A championship.

24. Emma Bozek takes charge with 14:36, bringing the Rebels to within 1, 9-8 score.

 23. North Rockland’s Kaitlyn Rau wants in….scores her second of the game to give Red Raiders a 2-goal lead, 9-7 score with 15:09 remaining.

22. Lakeland/Panas swaps goalie Amelia Lopez for Amanda Santos with 16:39 left.

21. Lauren Mazza gets a hat trick to give North Rockland an 8-7 lead with 16:39 left.

20. Tara Monaghan gets the hot hand, scoring one past Amelia Lopez to tie 7-7 with 18:02 left to play. Apparently North Rockland likes the rain?

19. Lauren Mazza adds some fuel to the fire, bringing North Rockland within 1 with 18:11 to play, Lakeland/Panas’ lead slipping, 7-6.

18. And the rain begins….and we were doing so well too.

17. North Rockland’s Tara Monaghan answers with one of her own…19:27 left to play and the Red Raiders are within 2, score 7-5.

16. Molly Fitzpatrick, who already has two assists, scores her first to widen the Rebel lead, 7-4, with 21:35 on the clock.

15. Emma Bozek opens up the second half with her second, giving the Rebels a 6-4 lewad with 21:51 left to play.

5. Nicolette Benderoth scores for North Rockland with 16:13 left, score 2-0.

4. Kaitlyn Rau takes an attempt at goal with 17:35 left, still 1-0 North Rockland.

3. Lakeland/Panas gets the ball off the draw, but North Rockland recovers.
