Yorktown leads 6-5 at halftime

Sophomore Lindsay Scott has three goals and an assist, Jaimie Morrison has two goals and Amanda Trendell has two assists for Yorktown, which leads Canandaigua 6-5 at halftime.

Yorktown led 2-0 and 4-2, Canandaigua scored three straight to take the lead, Morrison tied it with 4:50 left and Bridget Sickles gave Yorktown the lead with 2:57 left.

Check the comments below for second-half updates. Three-time defending champion Garden City (Section 8 ) leads Watertown (Section 3) 9-1 in the other semifinal. The final will be tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.

    Canandaigua wins the first two draws and scores. It’s 7-6 Braves with 23:49 left.

    Brittany Mabus tied it for Yorktown (assisted by Lindsay Scott), but the Braves just retook the lead. 8-7 with 19 minutes to play.

    Jaimie Morrison found Gabrielle Veteri cutting to the goal. It’s all tied at 8-8 with 13:44 left. CA just called time out.

    Guilderland won 13-9. There’s more details in the previous post. Danielle Tetreault had seven goals and Guilderland was up 13-5 with five minutes left.

    Lindsay Scott (four goals, two assists) beats her defender 1-on-1 and scores with 6:27 left as Yorktown retakes the lead.

    There was a card on CA after the goal so Yorktown gets the ball after the timeout. They will win as long as they hold the ball for 85 seconds.
