  1. Well...

  2. lovelax

Lindsay Biondi from Brewster was also all section

  3. lacrosse fan

    patty kaishian also from town

  4. laxer

what is all-elite? is that a new name for all-section?

  5. Curious

    Harold,
Could you pleaseexplain to us all of the rules regarding All- American selecting, the people who select the players and the players who were selected?

    thank you

  6. as well

Yeah, firstly, why are there no lists for all-elite or all-league?

Secondly what are the criteria for all these things?

Thirdly, I would just like to say what a pleasure it was to attend the Section 1 dinner last night. It was apparent that many of these girls play together, have grown up together and were genuinely happy for eachother. I was proud to attend and even prouder of the young women.

  7. PR Fan

two others were missed from Pearl River.
Shannon Howe All Elite and Kelly Mulligan Honorable Mention

  8. laxfanatic

The list above is all section….....The lists have been trimmed across all sports…lax decided to have an all elite selection…but the tru all section is the list above….50 athletes

  9. laxer

right, but what was all elite, because some people are saying that they should be on the all-section list that is posted, because they attended the all-elite dinner…but those are two different awards. so what is the criteria for all elite…and could you please post the all-league and all-elite listings?

I was also confused about all-elite and all-section, so I asked Sharon Sarsen. This was her response:
All Elite is the Award that is given by the Coaches Association to honor our players. These players plus the alternates were invited and recognized by the Coaches Association. Our coaches Association decides how many players they want to recognize. This has always been the award given to our most talented players. (With the exception of All American) I believe this year we recognized 66 All Elites along with 35 Honorable Mention All Elites.

All Section is a NEW award given by Section I. This is the first spring that they have sponsored this award. They gave us 50 picks.

We decided to keep our award going with the All Elites. We also supported Section I and selected the top 50 players as well.

  11. Confused

So there is no All Section Honorable Mention?

What about Academic All American awards—when will those be released?

  12. lax

yeah… you don’t have all the girls! patty kaishian from yorktown should also be on this list. try and fix that b/c if you’re gona list some girls you should be listing all of them…
