Sticking Together

Girls lacrosse in the Lower Hudson Valley

Watch Nanuet-Suffern

April
28

It’s great how close together all the teams are in the Sourthern power league. Yesterday Mike Dougherty saw Mamaroneck come back to tie Rye 12-12. Here’s his article

One other result from last night — Blind Brook got its first win. Jenna Paterno had five goals and two assists and Hallie Seiden scored four times as the Trojans defeated Keio 15-14.

Mike will be back in the field today to watch Nanuet-Suffern, a fascinating big-school/small-school Rockland matchup. You can watch it too (hopefully) by clicking here.

That’s one of many power-league games today: Nyack-Pearl River, Lakeland/Panas-Mahopac, Yorktown-Brewster, Scarsdale-Bronxville and Greeley-Mamaroneck. We also have Briarcliff-Arlington, Somers-Pelham, Yonkers-Kennedy, Wappingers-North Rockland, Albertus-Pleasantville, RCDS-Masters and Hackley-KLHT. Enjoy.

Yorktown beats Brewster 22 to 14. Nancy Kelly is the bestest referee in all of girls lacrosse. Go Nancy!
