I will be giving live scoring updates from the Nanuet-Skaneateles state semifinal game, so keep it here.
Skan is up 2-0 five minutes in. Stephanie Rice scored her 108th goal and then Shannon Tierney added an 8-meter shot 38 seconds later.
Skan converted an 8-meter shot with 18:42 left and just scored again to make it 4-0 with 14:25 left. Nanuet has called timeout.
Rice scored twice more to give Skan a 6-0 lead with 10 minutes left
Nanuet’s on the board as Hannah Frey scores on an 8-meter shot. 6-1 with 7:48 to go
Let’s go Nanuet…....You can come back
Skan is up 9-1 at the half. Rice, last year’s Class C tournament MVP, has four goals.
Is it Halftime yet
looks like the state rankings on laxpower are fairly accurate
Frey scored again to make it 13-2 with 15 minutes left. I’m going down to the field for interviews (I’m four levels up in the press box now) so this will be the last update, but I will be back with the final score when I get back.
Nanuet lost 19-4. Hannah Frey scored three times and Kelly Fanshawe had a goal and an assist.
Sorry for the delay. There is a thunder delay right now (the teams for the second semifinal haven’t even taken the field). It didn’t affect the Nanuet game but it did affect the time it took me to get back to the press box.
harold, nice job, thanks for keeping us posted!!!
